I was born in Ontinyent (Valencia, Spain) in 1971. I am a surgeon by profession and my passion for photography started after the impact that the George Rodger exhibition at the Barbican Gallery in London (1994) had on me.

Since then, my curiosity to learn about the history and work of the great masters of photography has never ceased. At first, my interest focused on photographers from the Magnum agency and other geniuses of reportage or documentary photography such as W. Eugene Smith or Robert Frank.

After discovering the work of William Klein, street photography became the genre I identify with the most. The list of authors within this genre who have interested me is very long, but Saul Leiter and Daido Moriyama are the ones I admire the most, along with Klein himself.

My self-taught training has been based on deepening my knowledge of the work of all these great photographers and other contemporary artists. Under their influence, I have developed my way of seeing and understanding photography.
